Not A Stanza, Priyanka-deepika To Reshoot The Whole Dance-off Now!
The entire song, which the actresses had shot for Bajirao Mastani, has been scrapped by Bhansali
Sanjay Leela Bhansali is a perfectionist to the core. Poor girls Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra are learning it the hard way while working on Bajirao Mastani.
The filmmaker wants to make sure that their much hyped dance-off turns out flawless.
SpotboyE.com told you how Bhansali was all set to reshoot a stanza of the song because he was unhappy with it (Priyanka and Deepika to reshoot their dance-off, June 5).
Now, we hear, he wants to shoot the entire dance number from scratch. Shocking, right?
After seeing the footage, the eccentric filmmaker felt that the song was not up to the mark. So the entire song went out of the window.
Now, the entire set will be recreated. The dancers will be summoned. Deepika and Priyanka will have to allot dates from their busy calendar once again for the song’s reshoot.
The number will have the actresses performing the Marathi folk dance ‘Pinga. We also heard, Bhansali is roping in a Marathi choreographer, who is an expert on the folk dance form. Remo DSouza had choreographed the original number and is likely to supervise the re-shoot too.
So Dippy and PeeCee, put on your dancing shoes again!
